]]>BELLE MINA, Alabama – On a narrow road, once called Bibb’s Lane after the state’s second governor, evidence of a once-thriving community now exists mostly on the signs of the aging general store and the crumbling Mooresville-Belle Mina School. The wooden steeple of picturesque Belle Mina Methodist Church rises above old-but-well-kept farm homes and sprawling green fields that turn white with cotton each September.
